We order from here almost every weekend and the food is always hot and delish! Delivery is always faster than stated. No complaints here!

The pizza was decent. Ample amount of cheese and sauce. Sauce has some flavor to it, not really spicy but has more 'kick' to it than most sauces. Based on the pizza alone it would be worth another visit but... While I was there a staff member was outside smoking about 10 feet from the door in violation of the state's 50 feet law/policy. This employee than proceeded to go back to work without washing this hands; another health code violation. In addition, while I was waiting for my food (about 5 minutes) one of the cooks dropped about 10 f bombs. Now, I'm as easy going as anyone, but when you classify yourself as a 'family business' and offer to host birthday parties, you would think there would more a filter on your mouth.

After eating here with my team at lunch I have a few things to say. The atmosphere was sup par, do to them renovating the bathrooms; however, they did have a few pieces to try and make it a little bit of an Italian atmosphere. It was also very dark in here due to the lights not being on. The food came out at the descent time and it was for an average price. One complain I have is that I ordered a large steak grinder, but received a small grinder instead. Not a major issue, but something I had to point out. The sandwich was good and my team said their meals were tasty as well.

This is the first time I ever bought pizza from Tony's and I would like to say I really enjoyed their pizza and it wasn't too greasy at all. I'm glad my boyfriend made the right choice for pizza places around where he lives in North Kingstown. I'm definately gonna order from there again

I grew up here, same menu, changed its entry way. Great pizza even 30 years later! Same family owns the place, and met the son who is taking over!

I have been going to Tony's pizza since I was a kid and it may not be the best pizza I've ever had but it's family owned and puts out some tasty pizza! Worth your time!

My son takes part in the Special Olympics Summer Games at URI, so we've gone to Tony's once a year for the last three years. The only reason I even return there, is simply, I don't know the area very well and we are limited on time.. Each time I've tried something different and each time the food has been terrible, tasteless and cold. The service is forgetful; once they serve you, they are gone and you will never see them again until it's time to pay the bill, so forget getting any refills on your drinks.... First time there we sat at the bar and I ordered the chicken fingers and French fries, I received (no kidding) nine fries and the chicken fingers were dry and tasteless.. Second time there, we again sat at the bar and I ordered the chicken cutlet salad. We received our order quickly, but the chicken was already cold and the waitress gave me the wrong dressing. Eight minutes went by before I was able to get the attention of another girl to correct it. (The place was pretty busy at this time and I'm sure the summer games at URI has a lot to do with it) Then after about five minutes, my long lost waitress returned with the correct dressing and no apology.. Third time was this last Friday 5/31/13. We sat at a booth this time and I ordered a steak, cheese and mushroom sub (My son always orders chicken fingers and French fries, no matter where we go, bad or good, he'll eat them, with no complaints, that's just the way he is.) Again, we received the order very quickly. But what I received was one of the worst looking subs I've ever seen! A small, overly toasted bun (the waitress never asked if I wanted it toasted or whether I wanted it loaded, but I blame myself for that) with very little, overly cooked clumpy dry steak , no cheese or mushrooms that I could see.. For example: It looked like, if you ordered a taco with just meat and nothing else, just a thin layer of meat on the very bottom, it was all bun! I should have complained or at least got up and slapped the cook, but I'm not much for making a scene in public and besides, we were limited on time. Then to top it all off, when it was time to pay, our waitress used my card in error to pay the bill of the group behind us. After realizing her error, she again took my card and charged our order. She did at the end, void out the incorrect charge and I got an "Ooops, sorry about that". Now, since this occurred at the start of the weekend, here it is now Monday, and I still haven't received credit to my account for the incorrect charge.. Three strikes for Tony's, I will never go back...

I've got to say that I am pretty experienced, yet unbiased in the Pizza department. I Lived in Manhattan, Chicago and Los Angeles so I have been exposed to all types of Pizza, good and bad. And, believe it or not I do like both NYC style pizza and the Chicago variety as well, almost equally. Most guys have a saying Pizza is like sex and there is no such thing as bad sex, even when its bad it is still sex...well this is bad sex, uhm I mean Pizza.

The food is ok ..SOCRATES IS BETTER!!!!...nothing great for a town that has more pizza places than a college town the staff should at least know what they are doing. The girl behind the counter could not even take my order. After 10 min of trying to order it seems she forgot i was even there i was waiting for my beer for 10 min. When i was being rung up it took the girl 4 times asking for my card every time so she could slide it again . finally when i got home my order was wrong i had to drive back and get the correct order . wont be going back there again!!! And it used to be the best in town..sad:(

Anyone that looks at me can see I love my pizza. Though its rare when I totally dislike a pizza, I also recognize a superior one when I taste it. Tony's pizza, which seems to have been in town in the same place forever is the very best I have had in a very long time. I don't know if its the new management, or just a new recipe file they got going, but both their sandwiches and pizza have become my new favorite, hands down. Even the french fries are the best I have had anywhere. I highly recommend Tony's for either take out or eat in...(Nothing fancy here, just a small family style place). And I especially recommend their Tony's special pizza. The freshest tastiest I have had in many years, and the very best locally...
